Shujaat hails workers as PML-Q backbone

Pakistan Muslim League (Q) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that loyal and dedicated workers are the party's true assets and will never be overlooked.
He stressed that the PML-Q leadership will continue to honour its workers and give them their due recognition nationwide.
He made these remarks during a meeting with the party's central secretary general and special assistant to the Sindh chief minister, Muhammad Tariq Hassan, and PML Karachi Division President Muhammad Jamil Ahmed Khan on Sunday. PML-Q Senior Vice President and federal minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain was also present at the occasion.
Chaudhry Shujaat welcomed the PakistanSaudi defence agreement, terming it a positive development.
He also noted that Pakistan had avoided default. "The country is now moving towards progress and prosperity. I have always practised politics of tolerance, principles, and national unity," he added.
He reiterated that "loyal and sincere workers are the assets of the party. They have never been ignored, and this practice will continue. We will give party workers and office-bearers across the country their rightful place and respect".
