Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's Bel Air home has once again become the target of a swatting hoax, marking the second such incident in just five months.

According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to a false 911 call placed at approximately 8 a.m. on Monday. The caller claimed Ramsay had shot his brother and nephew, was armed with a revolver, and was under the influence of heroin.

Upon arrival, LAPD officers found no threat and quickly determined the call was a swatting prank—a dangerous and illegal act where false reports are made to trigger an armed police response. Officers spoke with Ramsay's personal assistant, who was at the property at the time, and confirmed that Ramsay himself was out of the country and unaware of the situation.

The incident mirrors a previous hoax in April, when a similar call alleged that a gunman had opened fire on Ramsay's property. That report was also debunked by responding officers, who found no evidence of any disturbance.

Swatting, which has affected several high-profile celebrities including Cardi B, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Jennifer Aniston, continues to be a growing concern for law enforcement due to its potential to result in serious harm or misuse of police resources.

The LAPD has launched an investigation into the source of the latest false report, but no arrests have been made as of now. This recent incident comes shortly after Ramsay revealed he had undergone treatment for basal cell carcinoma, a non-melanoma form of skin cancer. In a social media post, he thanked medical professionals for their swift care and reminded fans to use sunscreen.

Despite these personal and security challenges, Ramsay remains active in his culinary and television career, with his restaurants holding a combined total of 17 Michelin stars and several ongoing TV appearances.
