A process server delivering deposition papers for Taylor Swift, on behalf of lawyers representing Justin Baldoni, was arrested for criminal trespassing at Travis Kelce’s gated home in Leawood, Kansas, Star reports.

The incident occurred at around 2 am on September 15, just two days after a federal judge denied a request to depose Swift in the ongoing defamation and sexual harassment lawsuits involving Baldoni and actress Blake Lively.

The individual arrested was identified as Justin Lee Fisher, 48, a former police officer turned private investigator. According to a Leawood Police Department report, Fisher was confronted by security at the property, where the reporting party was listed as the head of executive protection for a Nashville-based firm.

Official documentation confirmed he has been charged with unlawfully entering private premises by jumping a fence into the restricted neighbourhood.

In a brief statement, Fisher said, “I’ll be happy to talk to you about it when it is resolved. [I] wasn’t hurt or anything besides being arrested for doing my job and possibly losing my [private eye] licence.” He declined to comment further. Fisher is scheduled to appear in Leawood Municipal Court on October 15.

Records show Fisher worked for the Fort Scott Police Department between 2013 and 2021, before serving part time in law enforcement until 2023. His licence was revoked for five years following a domestic incident, according to the Kansas Commission on Peace Officer’s Standards and Training. Despite this, he remains listed as a licensed investigator with the Kansas Attorney General’s Office.

The broader case stems from allegations by Blake Lively, who claimed Baldoni harassed her during the filming of It Ends With Us and engaged in a smear campaign. The dispute continues to generate legal complexities involving several high-profile figures.
