Resurfaced Spotify playlist links D4vd and Celeste Rivas amid investigation

15-year-old Celeste Rivas was discovered in a Tesla registered to D4vd which was impounded by Los Angeles police.

A resurfaced video and image have brought new attention to a Spotify collaborative playlist reportedly shared between singer D4vd and 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose body was recently found in a Tesla registered to him.

The playlist primarily features songs by Dean Blunt, alongside tracks from Joanne Robertson, Yves Tumor, Cryogeyser, and others.

Credibility surrounding the playlist is being linked to a man identified as “Zerks,” who had liked the collection. Zerks is known to have been an administrator in D4vd’s official Discord server, giving additional weight to claims of its authenticity.

The resurfacing comes as D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, faces intense scrutiny following the discovery of Rivas’s body in a vehicle impounded by Los Angeles police. The 20-year-old musician is said to be fully cooperating with the investigation, which remains ongoing.

At the same time, Burke’s music has experienced a surge in popularity. His 2022 single "Romantic Homicide" re-entered the US Spotify Top 10 and climbed 102 places to number 42 on the Global Top 50. The track has now been streamed more than 1.7 billion times.

The heightened attention has coincided with cancellations across his live schedule. Performances in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Grammy Museum have been removed, with his US and European tours also cancelled. Interscope Records has also suspended the planned deluxe release of his debut album Withered: Marcescence.
