Structural collapses kill one, injure three

Two incidents of structural collapse on Friday left one woman dead and three people injured. In the Kalakot area of Lyari, plaster from the ceiling of a first-floor flat came crashing down, burying two women under the debris. Separately, a concrete balcony slab of an under-construction house collapsed, leaving two labourers injured.
