Anosh Ahmed hosts grand Mehfil-e-Milad at Karachi Press Club with massive media participation

An exclusive five-star Umrah package was awarded at the event to journalists through a lucky draw

On the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), businessman and philanthropist Anosh Ahmed organised a grand Mehfil-e-Milad at the Karachi Press Club.

The event was held as Eesal-e-Sawab for his late father, Nadeem Muhammad Ahmed, and drew a massive audience of journalists, media professionals, and their families. The gathering stood out not only for its spiritual atmosphere but also for its strong sense of unity and community.

The program began with recitations of hamd and naat by some of Pakistan’s most respected naat khawans. Legendary naat reciter Alhaj Siddique Ismail graced the event with his presence, alongside renowned voices such as Faisal Hassan Naqshbandi, Muhammad Asad Ayub, Muhammad Zubair, and Sumair Ahmed.

Their heartfelt tributes filled the hall with devotion, moving many in the audience to tears. Senior journalist A.H. Khanzada hosted the evening, guiding the participants through each segment with warmth and reverence.

In his address, Anosh Ahmed reminded attendees that Eid Milad-un-Nabi is more than a celebration. He emphasised the importance of embodying the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in daily life, calling for unity, compassion, and service to humanity.

He urged everyone to practice peace, tolerance, and kindness by quoting:

True devotion lies in following the Prophet’s Seerah.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Karachi Press Club for collaborating in making the Mehfil a meaningful success.

One of the unique highlights of the evening was the announcement of a luxury five-star Umrah package, awarded through a lucky draw exclusively for journalists.

Shields were also presented to participating naat khawans and Karachi Press Club leaders as tokens of appreciation. The event concluded with a grand feast, where guests enjoyed food and fellowship in a spirit of harmony.

The Mehfil-e-Milad reflected both spirituality and community engagement, as dozens of media professionals attended with their families. The hall resonated with Durood and praise for the Prophet (PBUH), creating an atmosphere of faith, devotion, and unity.

Beyond this event, Anosh Ahmed is widely recognised for his charitable contributions in Pakistan, Dubai, and the United States. From providing free healthcare and food relief to supporting underprivileged communities, his initiatives consistently combine faith with service.

By hosting gatherings such as the Mehfil-e-Milad, he continues to inspire spiritual reflection while strengthening community bonds.
