Cardi B reveals divorce struggles with Offset as she prepares for baby with Stefon Diggs

Cardi B has admitted her breakup with Offset has been anything but smooth.

Speaking on The Breakfast Club Sept. 19, the Grammy winner reflected on the state of her divorce, which she filed for more than a year ago.

“It’s not peaceful at all,” she said, noting that the matter has become a legal issue she can’t fully discuss.

The pair, who tied the knot in 2017, share three young children: daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and their youngest, Blossom, who turned one this year.

Tensions flared again when Offset released a track called Move On, with pointed lyrics seemingly aimed at Cardi.

Instead of taking offense, she responded with humor, asking why her estranged husband hasn’t finalized the paperwork if he truly wants to move forward.

Even as the divorce grinds on, Cardi insists she hasn’t lost faith in marriage.

“I’ll get married again,” she said, “but not as fast as the last time.”

For now, her focus is shifting to the future. The 32-year-old is preparing to welcome her fourth child, her first with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, while also gearing up to release her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?

Cardi described this season of her life as both demanding and rewarding.

“I’ve been putting in all this work while I’m growing a baby,” she told CBS Mornings earlier this week. “I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space.”

Her relationship with Diggs has blossomed publicly since early 2025, when they were first spotted together on Valentine’s Day.

Since then, the couple has been photographed at the Met Gala, courtside at NBA playoff games, on vacation in Miami and Paris, and openly supporting each other’s careers.

“He makes me feel very confident,” Cardi said of her new partner. “For me, feeling safe is the same as feeling confident—like you can take over the world.”

With her family expanding, her music career surging forward, and a new relationship by her side, Cardi B is embracing change, even as her divorce from Offset continues to play out in court.
