A boy was injured in an explosion caused during the welding of a CNG cylinder in a car on Friday.

The incident took place outside a workshop on Qadam Gah Mola Ali Road. During welding work on the CNG cylinder of a car, the cylinder exploded with a blast, leaving 15-year-old Yasir, son of Naseer Ahmed Abbasi, severely burnt. Locals rushed him to the Burns Ward of Civil Hospital, but he was later shifted to the Intensive Care Unit.
