Riot Fest 2025 kicks off in Chicago’s Douglass Park with Blink-182, Green Day, Weezer, and full-album sets.

Riot Fest 2025 has officially opened in Chicago, marking the festival’s 20th anniversary with a star-studded lineup and three days of performances in Douglass Park.

The event runs from Friday, September 19, through Sunday, September 21, in the city’s North Lawndale neighborhood.

This year’s headliners include Blink-182 and “Weird Al” Yankovic on Friday, Weezer and Jack White on Saturday, and Green Day and Idles on Sunday. Other notable acts on the lineup feature Alkaline Trio, Rilo Kiley, The Hold Steady, The Pogues, All Time Low, The Beach Boys with John Stamos, Dropkick Murphys, Jawbreaker, and Bad Religion.

Fans can also catch special full-album sets, with Weezer performing The Blue Album, Alkaline Trio revisiting Maybe I’ll Catch Fire, Bad Religion playing Suffer, The Bouncing Souls performing How I Spent My Summer Vacation, and the Sex Pistols playing Never Mind the Bollocks. A full day-by-day schedule is available on the Riot Fest website.

Three-day general admission passes are sold out, but single-day and two-day tickets remain available. VIP, Deluxe, and Deluxe+ three-day passes are also on sale and include re-entry privileges, unlike standard admission.

Gates open at 11 a.m. daily, with performances ending at 10 p.m. to comply with city curfew. Festival organizers encourage attendees to use public transportation, as parking is limited. The nearest CTA stop is the California Pink Line, and several bus routes also serve the park. An official parking lot at 1200 S. Campbell Avenue is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. for $40 per vehicle.

Riot Fest remains one of Chicago’s most popular music events, blending nostalgia with punk, rock, and alternative acts for its milestone year.
