KOT GHULAM MOHAMMAD:
The former president of the Peoples Hari Committee, in Umarkot district, and former naib nazim of Samaro Town, Pir Waliullah Jan Sarhandi, announced his resignation from the Pakistan Peoples Party on Tuesday. He resigned because of irregularities in the distribution of relief goods to the rain-affected people in Umarkot and Mirpurkhas districts. He said that that the party leaders had broken records of corruption and alleged that they have dumped relief goods in their warehouses and guest houses, and are selling them in the market. He also alleged that revenue officials, DCOs and DDOs are involved in these activities and has demanded a judicial inquiry.
