Floyd Mayweather has filed a lawsuit against Las Vegas Auto Gallery according to TMZ, accusing the dealership of misleading him during a luxury car purchase. The boxer alleges he was defrauded in the sale of a 2018 Mercedes Maybach G650 Landaulet, which he bought in July 2025 for approximately US$1.2 million as one of four vehicles.

Mayweather claims the dealership misrepresented the car’s history — saying there were previous lawsuits involving the vehicle, replaced parts, and lack of proper documentation. He says crucial items like title, odometer certification, and inspection records were missing or falsified.

According to Mayweather, the dealer told him the cost of the Maybach was $1.2 million and implied a purchase price of $1.1 million. However, Mayweather’s own research turned up that the dealership paid much less — about US$728,000 — meaning Mayweather believes he overpaid by more than US$500,000.

Reportedly, Mayweather returned three of the four cars, but the dealership refused to accept the Maybach back.He is seeking legal recourse for deceptive trade practices and misrepresentation, alleging the dealership acted “fraudulent, willful, and malicious.” He is asking for damages and attorney fees.

Mayweather says he is not against profit for businesses, but he wants fair treatment. In his public statement, he warned followers to be cautious when dealing with this dealership, identifying it by name.

As of now, the lawsuit has been filed, but the outcome and any judicial determination remain pending.
