Dandadan has officially been renewed for a third season, as confirmed by the production team immediately after the conclusion of season 2. The announcement was shared on X, alongside an illustration featuring Momo, Okarun, and Turbo Granny celebrating the news.
The second season of the anime, produced by Science SARU, concluded after a 12-week run, adapting the Kaiju arc from the manga. The final episode covered up to chapter 71, marking the climax of the arc, though two chapters remain to be adapted in the upcoming season.
Following this, season 3 will transition into the Space Globalists arc, one of the most significant and longest-running storylines in the series. Given that both the first and second seasons each adapted around 35 chapters, it is expected that the third instalment will primarily focus on this arc.
The cast of characters has also expanded during season 2. Alongside Momo Ayase, Okarun, and Turbo Granny, Kinta Sakata and Vamola (also known as Bamora) have joined the central group, setting up further developments for the next season.
No release date or additional casting details for Dandadan season 3 have been confirmed yet. Fans will likely have to wait until Jump Festa 2026 for more information, including a potential trailer or release window.
Dandadan has been one of the most talked-about anime of the summer 2025 season, standing out among titles such as The Summer Hikaru Died, Lord of Mysteries, and Gachiakuta.
Season 3 will aim to carry this momentum forward, bringing one of the manga’s most anticipated arcs to the screen.
