Kali Uchis has confirmed that she is pulling her collaboration with R&B artist D4vd following the discovery of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas’ body in a Tesla registered to him.
The Colombian-American singer said her track "Crashing" with the 20-year-old, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is being taken down.

"Crashing" was featured on D4vd’s debut studio album Withered, accompanied by a music video. Following the investigation, high-profile collaborators including Tyler, the Creator and Daniel Caesar unfollowed him on social media.
Authorities confirmed Rivas had been reported missing in April 2024. Her mother revealed she had been in a relationship with someone named “David.” Reports also claim that Rivas and D4vd shared identical tattoos, with “Shhh…” inked on their right index fingers.
Adding to speculation, a leaked track titled Celeste_Demo unfin surfaced online in December 2023, repeatedly referencing the name Celeste with lyrics suggestive of a romantic connection.
Despite growing public scrutiny, D4vd has not been formally accused of involvement in Rivas’ death. He cancelled a scheduled Seattle show after her identity was confirmed.
The music industry now awaits further developments in the ongoing case.
