Pakistan opens sports trade show in Canada

The week-long Pakistan-Canada Sports Trade show 2025 opened in Toronto, hosted by the Government of Pakistan in partnership with the Canadian Sporting Goods Association (CSGA).
According to a statement released Wednesday, the exhibition features 15 Pakistani manufacturers and exporters showcasing internationally acclaimed sporting goods, including footballs, cricket equipment, and accessories.
The manufacturers are official suppliers to global brands including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Mitre, and Decathlon.
Muhammad Saleem, Pakistan's High Commissioner to Canada, highlighted the country's role as a global hub for sporting goods. He noted Pakistan produces 70% of the world's professional footballs and exports to more than 100 countries, including Canada.
