
Seven trucks carrying relief goods were dispatched from Lodhran to support flood-affected families in Alipur, Muzaffargarh.
The relief consignment was flagged off from the District Council under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Lubna Nazir.
Speaking to The Express Tribune, Dr Nazir said the initiative was part of government directives to ensure timely assistance for victims.
She added that the relief goods, worth nearly Rs10 million, included food items, drinking water, clothing, blankets, shoes, and animal fodder.
The trucks are expected to reach Alipur by night and will be handed over to the local administration for immediate distribution among affected families.
