A 17-year-old boy was reportedly assaulted in the suburban area of Kakkar Hatta, Khanewal.
According to police, the suspects - Ali Murali, Ahsan Deendar, and Rana Wajahat - called the teenager to their dera on a false pretext, subjected him to violence, and recorded the incident. They later used the video to threaten and blackmail him.
The victim had been making rounds of police stations but was unable to get his complaint registered. The matter came to light when the video circulated on social media, prompting immediate action from district police.
Officers located the boy, helped him file an application, and registered a case.
