FIR registered after policeman's abduction in DHA

A case has been registered at Sahil police station over the kidnapping of and firing at a policeman in DHA. The FIR, lodged by the victim, Head Constable Muhammad Ishaq, names four identified suspects and includes sections of attempted murder, kidnapping, police encounter, and the Anti-Terrorism Act.

According to the FIR, a police patrol vehicle from Sahil police station was on duty in DHA Phase VIII, when officers spotted a suspicious car. A man sitting on the roadside entered the vehicle after noticing the police.

Police approached and asked the four men inside to step out for a search. The suspects opened fire, prompting retaliation. Two men overpowered Constable Ishaq, dragged him into the car, blindfolded him, drove around for an hour, and later abandoned him near New Sabzi Mandi Highway after snatching his wallet, mobile phones, and documents. Ishaq eventually returned to Sahil police station to lodge his complaint.
