Draya Michele breaks silence after public altercation with boyfriend Jalen Green outside NYFW party

Draya Michele and her boyfriend, Jalen Green were filmed in a heated exchange outside a New York Fashion Week party.

The Basketball Wives alum, 40, and the Houston Rockets player, 23, were seen arguing in the early hours of Friday outside The Manor hotel in SoHo.

The couple had attended Mer Alas’ NYFW soirée before clashing in the street alongside two friends who attempted to intervene.

In a video obtained by the Daily Mail, Michele rushed towards Green while a friend pleaded, “Stop, stop, stop… everybody going to get into trouble. Everybody forgive each other!” Despite the intervention, the pair continued to exchange words as they walked down the sidewalk, with Michele eventually being guided away.

Just hours later, Michele appeared unfazed when she posted a lighthearted Instagram Story of the couple’s toddler daughter strolling through New York. The pair welcomed the child in 2023, adding to Michele’s family, which includes her son Kniko Howard, 23, and son Jru Sandrick, 9, with former fiancé Orlando Sandrick.

Michele’s relationship with Green has often attracted criticism due to their 17-year age difference. \

Rather than address the scrutiny directly, Michele leaned into humour following the release of the argument footage. She shared the viral Jet2 Holiday logo and trending audio clip that repeats, “Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday,” signalling her preference to redirect attention on her own terms.

The couple, who began dating in 2023, have yet to comment publicly on the NYFW incident.
