Crime: Death sentence for killing colleague

FAISALABAD: Additional Session Judge Aqil Hussain Chauhan on Tuesday awarded death sentenced to a murder accused. Madina Town police had arrested Ghulam Abbas, a resident of Fareed Town in Sahiwal, after he stabbed one of his colleagues, Muhammad Ehsan, few months ago at a factory. The court after recording evidence and adjudicating the arguments of both the parties found Abbas guilty under Section 302-B of the Pakistan Penal Code. The court also directed the convict to pay Rs100,000 as compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased.
