'Robber' killed by accomplices: CCD
A suspected robber in the custody of the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Model Town was allegedly shot dead by his accomplices during what police described as a 'recovery operation' in the Nishter Colony area on Saturday.
The suspect, identified as Ejaz Islam, was being taken by officials to the area in connection with the investigation against him when his accomplices, lying in wait, opened fire in a bid to secure his release.
