In Netflix’s new three-hour documentary aka Charlie Sheen, the controversial actor addresses a decades-old allegation head-on, calling Corey Haim’s rape claim “vile fiction.”

The documentary dives deep into Sheen’s career, personal struggles, and public scandals. Early in the film, Sheen states that no topic is off-limits, as the documentary explores incidents including his battle with addiction, a claim that he shot Kelly Preston, and the most serious accusation: that he raped then-13-year-old Corey Haim on the set of Lucas in 1986.

The claim originates from Haim’s friend and fellow actor Corey Feldman, who has long alleged that Haim was abused during filming. In his 2020 documentary My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys, Feldman named Sheen as the alleged abuser. Feldman describes Haim’s account in disturbing detail, claiming it happened in broad daylight between trailers. His ex-wife, Susannah Sprague, also supports this version of events.

In the Netflix documentary, Sheen is asked directly about the allegation. He responds, “Absolute fking bullsh*t,” adding, “It’s a piece of vile fiction. The guy’s mom came out and said, ‘This is impossible.’ So no, that one, just… fk off, you know?”

Judy Haim, Corey’s mother, previously denied the claim in a 2017 interview with Dr. Oz, saying she saw no signs of trauma in her son and that the accusation was out of character for him. She also identified someone else as the alleged abuser, though the show bleeped the name.

aka Charlie Sheen is now streaming on Netflix. The documentary offers a raw look into Sheen’s chaotic life, controversies, and ongoing efforts to reclaim his narrative.
