Bad Bunny leaves the US off his world tour, here’s why

Bad Bunny has confirmed that his upcoming world tour, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, will not include any stops in the continental United States.
The decision, he explained, is rooted in fears that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) could use his concerts as opportunities to target Latino fans.
In an interview, the Puerto Rican superstar clarified that he holds no hostility toward his US audience, noting that his past shows there have been “magnificent.”
However, he said that the rise in immigration arrests under the Trump administration created an atmosphere of fear that he did not want his fans to endure at his events.
Although the US mainland was excluded, Bad Bunny reassured fans that they will still be able to see him perform during his ongoing residency in Puerto Rico, his birthplace and a US territory.
The Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour is set to launch on November 21 in the Dominican Republic and conclude next July in Belgium. Along the way, he will play major dates across Latin America and Europe.
Bad Bunny has long been outspoken on immigration issues, previously criticizing ICE raids in Puerto Rico and highlighting their impact on immigrant communities.
His decision to leave the US out of his tour has reignited conversation about how political and social climates can shape the choices artists make when planning global shows.
