Peacemaker, the DC antihero, is finally making his way to Fortnite, according to newly decrypted game files. While Fortnite has previously featured DC characters like Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, and even WWE’s version of John Cena, Peacemaker has remained absent—until now.

The arrival fits perfectly within Fortnite’s history of successful DC collaborations, and the timing makes sense, as the second season of Peacemaker is airing throughout September. Epic Games continues to double down on pop culture crossovers, setting itself apart from other live service games.

According to reliable leakers such as HYPEX and Shiina, the Peacemaker skin was recently decrypted, which typically means it’s finalized and already uploaded to servers. Decryption often indicates that a cosmetic will appear in the Item Shop within days or weeks. Leaked images reveal both helmeted and helmetless variants, giving players the option to choose between styles.

The design has already sparked online discussion. Some fans joked about the skin resembling a “budget John Cena superhero,” while others praised the accurate costume details. Notably, the face model used for Peacemaker is different from the existing John Cena WWE skin released in 2022.

As with many new skins, players are watching for potential competitive advantages. Epic is known to make tweaks based on community feedback.

Though no official release date has been confirmed, the decrypted files suggest Peacemaker could hit the Item Shop as early as next week. His debut is expected to join ongoing crossovers like Beavis and Butt-Head, following the conclusion of the Power Rangers event.
