Realtor.com first reported the sale, noting that Plaza and Baena purchased the house for $4.7 million in October 2022 through a trust connected to her production company, Evil Hag Productions.

The listing comes after Baena’s death by suicide inside the home on January 3 at the age of 47. At the time, Plaza was living in New York following their separation in September 2024. In a joint statement with Baena’s family, she described his passing as an “unimaginable tragedy” and asked for privacy.

Speaking in August on Amy Poehler’s “Good Hang” podcast, Plaza reflected on her grief, describing it as a “daily struggle.” She compared her mourning to feeling as though “there’s, like, a giant ocean of just awfulness that’s just right there and I can see it.”
