Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attend soft opening of his 1587 Prime steakhouse in Kansas City

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce stepped out together for the soft opening of his new restaurant, 1587 Prime steakhouse, in Kansas City on Monday evening.

The pop star was reportedly there to support her fiancé as he previewed the upscale venue he co-owns with Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes.

Sources told TMZ that the pair dined with friends and family. Guests described the couple as affectionate yet low-key, enjoying the evening in a semi-private booth while mingling with attendees.

Swift wore a denim dress with wedge heels and a side-swept hairstyle, while Kelce, kept his look casual with a cap and striped shirt.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes also attended with their three children. Though seated separately, the families spent time together, with Swift pictured holding the Mahomes’ infant daughter and playing with their older children. 

The event precedes the official launch of 1587 Prime on September 17. The restaurant’s debut comes shortly after Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on August 26. The proposal, which took place weeks earlier in a rose-filled backyard, featured an old mine brilliant cut diamond valued at an estimated $1 million.

The couple is reportedly planning a Rhode Island wedding for next summer, with sources indicating the ceremony will be private and understated.
