Court wants report on land victims

The IHC has directed the CDA to submit a comprehensive report within one month concerning the victims of Shah Allah Ditta and Sector C-13.

During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani addressed the CDA magistrate and remarked, "If you act solely on NAB's instructions, where does the law stand? NAB has already disrupted the process. Any judge, police officer, or CDA employee who feels intimidated should seek a transfer. You display no fear when exploiting advantages, yet hesitate in carrying out your duties."

Justice Kayani noted that, following NAB's amendments, numerous cases had been returned. He stressed the importance of examining NAB and FIA jurisdiction alongside civil rights.The court adjourned the hearing after directing the submission of a detailed report.
