Sydney Sweeney, Stephen Colbert, Sterling K Brown, Tina Fey, Jenna Ortega and Mariska Hargitay are among the major names confirmed to take the stage on September 14.
The ceremony will be hosted by Nate Bargatze and broadcast live from the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles. Fans in the United States can watch on CBS, while Paramount Plus subscribers will also have access to the show.
The lineup of presenters is filled with Emmy favourites and audience favourites. Elizabeth Banks, Angela Bassett, Jason Bateman, Kathy Bates, Kristen Bell, Jennifer Coolidge, Alan Cumming, Colman Domingo, Walton Goggins, Lauren Graham, Kathryn Hahn, Tony Goldwyn, Alexis Bledel and Ike Barinholtz are among those set to appear. Adding even more glamour to the evening, Catherine Zeta Jones, Sofia Vergara, Jude Law, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Christopher Meloni and Jesse Williams are also expected to present awards.
The Emmys follow on the heels of the Creative Arts ceremonies that saw HBO Max’s The Penguin and Apple TV Plus’ The Studio dominate the winners’ list. The Studio currently leads with nine awards, while The Penguin has eight and SNL50: The Anniversary Special collected seven. The high-profile competition between shows will continue on Sunday as fans eagerly await to see which series takes home the top honours.
Adding a heartfelt moment to the night, Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen will jointly receive the Television Academy’s Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. The married couple will be celebrated for decades of philanthropy and activism alongside their impressive careers in television.
Behind the scenes, Jesse Collins Entertainment returns for its third year as executive producers, with Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay overseeing the broadcast. The production team promises a show that will combine glamour, humour and celebration of the best in television.
With such a glittering list of presenters and nominees, this year’s Emmys promise to be an unmissable event for viewers and a pivotal night for the industry.
