Rapper Ice Spice made it clear she wasn’t about to call Taylor Swift live on stream during an appearance on Kai Cenat's Twitch livestream. While Ice Spice and fellow artist Latto joined Cenat to promote their new collaboration "Gyatt," the conversation took a lighthearted turn when Cenat tried to pressure Ice Spice into reaching out to Swift.
The two artists were chatting when Cenat urged Ice Spice to call Swift, but she jokingly shut him down, saying, “No, ‘cause if she don’t answer, I’mma lose aura.” She further teased, "You peer pressuring me into calling my best contact." The playful exchange between Ice Spice, Latto, and Cenat quickly became a viral moment, with many fans sharing clips of the interaction on social media. One user on X wrote, "Ice was not about to fumble her real life relationship with Taylor for views," while another suggested, "Kai's always tryna make history happen. Ice Spice probably dodged that call knowing Taylor's busy writing songs about Travis."

Cenat seized the opportunity to suggest Ice Spice could call Swift to offer congratulations, but the rapper remained steadfast in her decision not to make the call on air.
Ice Spice and Swift first connected in 2023 when they collaborated on a remix of the song "Karma." In a subsequent interview with Variety, Ice Spice referred to Swift as “my sis,” adding that they had a great time together, chatting and having fun. Swift, in turn, has expressed admiration for Ice Spice, praising her professionalism and dedication to her craft. In an email to Variety, Swift described the rapper as “extremely professional without being cold” and noted how Ice Spice skillfully balances her playful side with her focus on her career.
