Business conclave: Delegation leaves for Nepal

Saarc CCI is organising the meeting in collaboration with FNCCI, in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Stiftung.

A large delegation of Pakistani businessmen left for Nepal on Tuesday to attend the 4th Saarc Business Leaders Conclave on September 20-22, a statement said.



Saarc Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organising the meeting in collaboration with Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Stiftung. The World Bank will be the knowledge partner, it said.

The theme of the conference will be “Peace and Prosperity through Regional Connectivity.” It will be inaugurated by Nepalese President Dr Ram Baran Yadav. Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka, former prime minister of Sri Lanka, will participate as the guest of honour. Over 100 businessmen from Bangladesh and other Saarc member-countries will attend the event.
