ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan and Kazakhstan are set to sign important agreements next week aimed at enhancing maritime trade and cooperation in the blue economy.

Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu will visit Pakistan on September 8-9, accompanied by a high-level delegation. During his stay, he will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and other senior leaders.

Delegation-level talks between Pakistan and Kazakhstan are also scheduled.

Agreements are expected on investment in free zones for maritime services, as well as cooperation under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to promote trade, investment, and regional partnerships.
