Man arrested for fake Rs250,000 robbery

Sharafi Goth police uncovered and exposed a false robbery report filed by a citizen, arresting him.
Reportedly, a man named Nauman initially informed police that unidentified suspects robbed him near Eidgah Ground, taking valuables worth Rs250,000, including a mobile phone and a motorcycle. Police collected evidence from the scene and expanded the scope of their investigation, finding inconsistencies in the suspect's statements, leading to his detention.
After being taken into custody, Nauman confessed that the robbery was fabricated, and admitted that he had staged the incident along with two accomplices. He further revealed that after giving false information to the police, the plan was to keep the valuables for himself.
Investigations further revealed that the arrested suspect works as a rider for a private company. A case has been registered against him and handed over to investigation authorities. Meanwhile, police are conducting raids to arrest other involved accomplices.
