Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is now placing blame on independent wrestler Syko Stu for the recent attack involving his son, Raja Jackson. In a September 3 interview with Ariel Helwani, the former UFC champion insisted that Stu “take some accountability” for his role in the incident, arguing that none of it would have happened if Stu hadn’t struck Raja on the back of the head with a can.

Initially, Rampage was more reserved in his public comments, but two weeks after the altercation, he’s shifted his stance. He revealed that he tried to reach out to Syko Stu with a voice message shortly after the incident, but received no reply—reportedly because Stu was recovering. Unable to get a direct response, Rampage began asking around in the wrestling scene, claiming he learned that Stu has a reputation for drinking backstage and being involved in other questionable behavior.

“This isn’t the first time Syko Stu has done some sh** like this,” Rampage said. He believes Stu should have at least addressed Raja after hitting him to defuse the situation rather than letting tensions escalate.

“Everybody was wrong,” he added. “Raja was the most wrong, but it wouldn’t have happened if Syko Stu didn’t hit my son.”

Rampage also downplayed the severity of the attack on Stu, claiming reports exaggerated the situation. He said Stu was released from the hospital days before social media reacted and questioned the motives behind fundraising efforts.

As for Raja, he hasn’t spoken publicly since the incident. Rampage said his son is likely at home as they await an arrest warrant. “If the judge thinks he should go to jail, I think he should go to jail. Not prison—just do a little time, get some therapy, and learn from it.”
