A video clip, shared on X by user @Streetwork85N, showed Lil Woody lying on the road with visible injuries and reportedly unconscious. Witnesses at the scene attempted to revive him, with reports suggesting he may have suffered a head concussion. Later updates indicated that the rapper regained consciousness and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The accident comes shortly after Lil Woody faced legal troubles earlier this summer. On June 22, he was arrested by Atlanta police in connection with a street takeover incident involving reckless stunt driving, according to 11alive.com. Authorities charged him with multiple offenses, including stunt driving, driving on the wrong side of the road, and “laying drags” by operating a vehicle in circular motions.

The arrest followed the circulation of a video allegedly showing Copeland performing dangerous maneuvers in a white Dodge Challenger at the intersection of Whitehall Street SW and McDaniel Street SW. The footage reportedly captured him burning rubber, creating thick smoke, and making an illegal right turn at a red light. Atlanta police pulled him over near a shopping center, and he was booked at the Atlanta City Detention Center before being released on bail on July 3.

Lil Woody also gained attention in 2024 when he testified during the high-profile YSL RICO trial involving rapper Young Thug. At the time, Copeland admitted to misleading law enforcement, fabricating names, and making false claims to avoid charges against himself.
