Independent wrestler Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, has been released from the hospital following an in-ring incident with Raja Jackson at a KnokX Pro event in Los Angeles on August 23, 2025.

Despite the severity of the injuries, the message noted that Smith remains in good spirits and expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, including donations, food, and flowers.

The incident occurred after Smith struck Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, with a beer can during the show. Though the two reportedly settled their differences and agreed on a spot, Jackson entered the ring later in the event, slamming Smith to the mat and delivering more than 20 strikes while Smith was unresponsive. The altercation was live-streamed and quickly drew backlash.

In response, WWE pulled its WWE ID accreditation from KnokX Pro. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign for Smith’s medical expenses has raised over $213,000, with contributions from wrestlers including Chris Jericho, Finn Balor, Swerve Strickland, and Nic Nemeth.

The LAPD confirmed that a police investigation is ongoing, though no arrests have been announced.
