Battlefield 6 has unveiled its updated PC system requirements, confirming that players aiming for the best experience will need at least an RTX 3060 Ti and an i7-10700. Set to release on October 10, this marks the return of EA’s popular military shooter series after nearly four years, following the mixed reception of Battlefield 2042.

The excitement surrounding Battlefield 6 has been steadily growing, particularly after its record-breaking open beta. Early reception suggests EA may successfully rebound from 2042’s disappointment and restore the franchise’s former glory. Some fans even believe the new title could rival Call of Duty this year.

For players looking to experience the game at its best, EA recommends high-end specs: an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX paired with an i9-12900k or Ryzen 7 7800X3D, along with 32GB of RAM. This setup promises 4K at 60 FPS (ultra settings) or 1440p at 144 FPS (high settings). For a balanced, optimal experience, EA suggests a mid-range configuration of RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT and Core i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X with 16GB RAM.

The minimum requirements include an RTX 2060 or RX 5600 XT, Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 2600, and 16GB of RAM, enabling players to run Battlefield 6 at lower settings.

These requirements mostly mirror those shared during the game’s open beta but have now been expanded to include the "Ultra" preset for enthusiasts. Players who tested the beta should expect similar performance in the full release, with clearer insights on the hardware upgrades needed for optimal gameplay.

With just over a month to go before launch, Battlefield 6 is gaining momentum, recently overtaking Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone in Steam engagement. This surge in player interest suggests that the upcoming release could see significant traction.
