
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has postponed the exams for inspector legal in the police and posts in other departments scheduled for August 30 and 31 because of the flood situation.
The new dates for the exams will be announced later.
According to a spokesperson, the decision was taken after difficulties faced by candidates due to the flood in various parts of the province were considered in a meeting Presided over by PPSC Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Muhammad Abdul Aziz.
The exams for 434 posts, which were scheduled to be held in Lahore with over 8,000 candidates, were postponed. The candidates will be informed about the new dates through SMS, email and the PPSC website.
