Young Thug denies snitching after Peewee Roscoe interrogation audio resurfaces
Atlanta rapper Young Thug has responded to resurfaced interrogation audio that sparked fresh accusations of snitching.
The clip, which features Thug allegedly name-dropping Peewee Roscoe during a two-hour police questioning, began circulating on social media this week, leading fans to question his loyalty.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Young Thug denied the claims, insisting that the video shows him helping his associate rather than incriminating him.
They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?

The footage, which originally surfaced nearly two years ago, went viral again on Wednesday, reigniting debate across hip hop circles. While some fans accused Thug of hypocrisy—given his past criticism of rappers accused of cooperating with authorities—others defended him. One user wrote: “Your loyalty was never in question.” Another added: “Not mad at the video, mad at the fact you disowned Gunna over the same situation.”
The resurfaced clip has also revived discussion about Thug’s strained relationship with Gunna, who took an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case in December 2022. Gunna previously denied cooperating with prosecutors, stating that he had not testified or agreed to testify against anyone. Despite his clarification, the move fueled persistent “snitching” allegations, especially from Thug’s supporters.
As the debate continues online, Young Thug maintains that the interrogation video proves his loyalty to those around him. However, the viral moment underscores how fragile public perception can be in the ongoing YSL case.
