Villepigue noted that antique diamonds tend to carry more weight than modern cuts of the same dimensions, suggesting the stone may appear slightly larger than its carat count.

Swift’s fans immediately picked up on the symbolism, pointing out that the couple announced their engagement on August 26, exactly 13 days after Swift’s record-breaking appearance on Kelce’s podcast “New Heights” on August 13.
