Woman raped at gunpoint

A woman was allegedly raped at gunpoint after a suspect entered her house. Police have registered a case and launched raids to arrest the accused.

According to police sources, the incident took place in Roshanwala.

The complainant reported that the accused, identified as Zawar, barged into his house and assaulted his sister-in-law. The victim stated that the suspect threatened her with a weapon and subjected her to sexual assault.

On receiving the complaint, police registered an FIR and initiated raids to arrest the fugitive suspect.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that teams are pursuing the accused and expressed determination to ensure his arrest at the earliest.

A local police official added that the case is being investigated on priority, and legal proceedings will be carried out to provide justice to the victim.
