Krispy Kreme has announced it will give away free doughnuts on Monday, Aug. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. local time at participating U.S. locations in honor of the couple’s headline-making news.
The pop star and NFL player confirmed their engagement through a five-photo Instagram carousel showing Kelce proposing on one knee amid a bed of flowers. Their caption humorously read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” One of the standout images highlighted Swift’s custom ring, featuring an old mine brilliant cut by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.
The announcement quickly went viral, with fans and celebrities sharing congratulations across social media. Krispy Kreme amplified the celebration by posting on X (formerly Twitter): “FREE doughnuts for the class,” making the engagement a nationwide event.
