Meghan Markle discussed how royal life constrained her ability to express herself while promoting season 2 of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan. In a new sit-down on Bloomberg’s The Circuit with Emily Chang, the Duchess reflected on expectations placed on her as a working royal and referenced formal dress protocols, noting they felt out of step with her personal style.
The conversation comes as Markle’s rebranded lifestyle venture, As Ever—formerly American Riviera Orchard—continues to expand. The rebrand was announced in February 2025, with sales launching April 2. Offerings now include fruit preserves, teas, baking mixes (like cookies and crêpes) and whimsical “flower sprinkles,” alongside a recently added rosé.

The series features home-cooking, hosting and design projects—and, at times, As Ever ingredients.
Bloomberg interview, Markle has spoken publicly about civic issues since leaving royal duties, including 2020 and 2024 voting initiatives and a 2022 conversation on abortion rights with Gloria Steinem.
