V (Kim Taehyung) of K-pop supergroup BTS stepped onto the mound at Dodger Stadium on Monday night to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Dodgers took on the Cincinnati Reds.

Wearing a No. 7 Dodgers jersey paired with casual faded jeans, he bowed to pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto before delivering a clean strike that ignited the crowd.

Fans screamed throughout the moment, capturing it on camera phones and waving as he returned to the dugout.

The singer made the iconic Dodgers declaration: It’s time for Dodger baseball! Then, in a touching scene, he met and hugged two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani in the dugout before sharing laughs with pitcher Tyler Glasnow.

V also greeted the kids running on the field for autographs, showcasing his warm charisma both on and off the field.

Since July, BTS has been in the US working on new music, preparing for a full-group album release next spring following the members’ break for mandatory military service.

V’s appearance merges pop culture flare with ballpark tradition, creating a historic moment at the intersection of global fandom and America’s pastime.
