College girl falls to death

A 19-year-old student lost her life after falling from the second floor of Government Women's College Samundri. Police took custody of the body and handed it over to the family after completing legal formalities.

According to sources, the deceased, Mahem, a resident of Chak No. 142 GB, was a second-semester BS Urdu student at the college. She reportedly slipped and fell from the second floor, sustaining severe head injuries.

She was being shifted to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries on the way.

Upon receiving information, SP Saddar Division Muhammad Tahir, DSP Samundri Circle, and SHO City Samundri Rai Aftab Waseem, along with other officers, reached the site and completed necessary legal procedures before handing over the body to the family.
