Remember how 'they' handled rain situation'

In a veiled reaction to MQM's criticism over Sindh government's response to rain emergency, CM's Special Assistant on Food Abdul Jabar Khan, said he hopes that "they recall what Hyderabad looked like after rains when they were in power."
He said those criticising the government should first explain what conditions were like during their own tenure whenever heavy rains lashed the city. Speaking during visits to rain-affected areas and pumping stations in Mehr Ali Society, he said that the mayor, town chairmen, UC chairmen, and district administration officials had been working 18-hour shifts to provide relief and ensure timely drainage of rainwater. "For the first time in Hyderabad's history, despite such heavy downpours, water has been cleared from streets, lanes, and neighborhoods in a timely manner," he claimed.
