Five convicted in murder case

Additional Sessions Judge Faisalabad, Rana Tanveer Ahmed, has awarded death sentences, life imprisonment, and fines to five convicts in a murder and attempted murder case registered at Saddar Police station under case number 1534/22.

According to sources, the court found the accused guilty of killing Muhammad Tayyab and injuring Muhammad Tahir, Zubair, Shabbir Muhammad and Ashraf during a clash stemming from an old enmity three years ago.

Convicts Rizwan and Umar Hussain were handed down the death penalty along with a fine of Rs1 million each. Ali Haider and Ghulam Raza were sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs1 million each.

Ghulam Murtaza was awarded seven years' imprisonment along with a fine.

Saddar police station had registered the case, arrested the accused, and submitted a solid challan to the court, ensuring effective prosecution that resulted in the convictions.
