Gold price jumps in Pakistan as global market strengthens

Traders say surge follows strong momentum as investor demand remains elevated amid economic uncertainties

Gold prices in Pakistan surged sharply on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market where rates rose by $41 per ounce to $3,371.

In the local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold jumped by Rs4,100 per tola, reaching Rs359,800. The 10-gram price also increased by Rs3,222 to Rs308,470.

Similarly, silver prices rose significantly, with per tola rates climbing by Rs108 to Rs4,121, while the 10-gram price advanced by Rs93 to Rs3,533.

Traders said the surge followed strong momentum in the global bullion market, where investor demand remains elevated amid economic uncertainties.
