As part of the marketing campaign for the upcoming region Nod-Krai, Genshin Impact is giving players a chance to win 320 Primogems by simply sharing their expectations for the new area. To enter, players must comment their thoughts and UID on Reddit or post on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Naver Café, or Telegram using the hashtag #ToNodKrai. The giveaway is open until August 29, 2025, with 200 winners set to be announced on September 9. Each account can claim the reward only once.
Nod-Krai is at the center of Version 6.0, marking the beginning of the Snezhnaya arc following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.8. The new region introduces three major islands: Hiisi Island, Lempo Isle, and Paha Isle, with more expected in future updates.
From a gameplay perspective, Version 6.0 expands on Lunar Reactions with the debut of two new characters: Flins, a hypercarry who enhances Normal Attacks, and Lauma, a support unit based around Lunar-Bloom. Interestingly, the update also brings in Aino, a 4-star Hydro Claymore who doesn’t generate Lunar Reactions herself but buffs them for others.
Despite the excitement, some players have criticized HoYoverse’s approach to giveaways. A recent promotion at Gamescom offered just 30 Primogems, with codes expiring within hours due to limited availability.
Still, expectations for Nod-Krai are high. The region’s split from the main Snezhnaya continent initially raised eyebrows, but the community has since embraced HoYoverse’s ambitious direction. Alongside new characters like Nahida, Yelan, Lauma, and Flins, the 6.0 update is also rumored to bring a sandbox module powered by user-generated content and changes to the game’s endgame systems.
Version 6.0 and the Nod-Krai region officially launch on September 10, 2025.
