Two suspected robbers were injured in an alleged shootout with the Dolphin Force on Canal Road, Jaranwala, on Friday night. Police said a Dolphin patrol team signaled three men on a motorcycle to stop at a checkpoint, but they attempted to flee. When officers pursued them, the suspects opened fire.

Additional police units were called in, and the area was cordoned off. The suspects were ordered to surrender but continued firing at the police. During the exchange of fire, two of them identified as Sarfraz and Salman were injured, while their accomplice managed to escape.

The injured suspects were arrested and shifted to hospital for treatment. Police said they recovered two pistols.
