The Provincial Anti-Corruption Court has acquitted former Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General Manzoor Kaka and others in the Nasla Tower land allotment case due to lack of evidence. The court ruled that the prosecution failed to prove the allegations.
The Supreme Court had ordered the demolition of the Nasla Tower in February 2022, declaring it an illegal structure.
The accused were alleged to have allotted land to the builder illegally, deviating from approved plans. However, the prosecution could not present solid evidence, leading to the acquittal.
