The Capital Development Authority (CDA) said it has removed over 80 per cent of illegal constructions and encroachments along government land from GT Road Tarnol to the Sangjani Toll Plaza.
The civic body said the anti-encroachment operation was being carried out systematically.
Officials reported that 80 per cent of the cleaning operation along a 6-kilometre stretch from the toll plaza to ICT limits has been completed.
Construction material dumping points are also being cleared with the support of the MPO Directorate.
Several shops and hotels — including Pak Khyber Shinwari — have been sealed, with owners served notices.
Authorities have arrested 15 individuals, sealed 18 commercial outlets, and seized eight dumpers. In the Rawat-T-Chowk vicinity, 3.5 km out of 6.5 km have been cleared, and 38 under-construction illegal structures demolished with heavy machinery.
Eighteen signboards have also been removed.
CDA stated that operations against illegal structures will continue and urged citizens to cooperate with authorities and report any illegal occupation.
